On Saturday June 25th Bridge To Books will be hosting the YA in Bloom luncheon at Vroman's Bookstore in Pasadena, CA.
The luncheon (1-4p) includes authors of YA literature, librarians, teachers, readers -- anyone who loves YA lit! Special guests will include authors Nancy Holder and Cindy Pon. Other authors are also expected to attend. There will be plenty of food and book giveaways! Don't miss it!

Directions: Vroman's is located at 695 E. Colorado Blvd. in Pasadena. Take the I-5 south to the 210 East. Exit #26 Lake Avenue. Merge onto E. Corson, turn Rt. onto Lake, and Rt. onto E. Colorado Blvd. If you get lost, the store phone # is 626-449-5320.
I will be attending along with my 17-year-old daughter, Carissa. By the way, while you are in the area, I strongly encourage you to stop by two wonderful indie bookshops in nearby La Canada and Montrose.
Flintridge Bookstore and Coffeshop is located at 1010 Foothill Blvd. right off the 210 fwy on your way to Pasadena. (Exit at Angeles Crest going south, turn right on Foothill, left on Chevy Chase)
Once Upon A Time is located at 2207 Honolulu Ave., also off the 210 fwy (exit Ocean View, south to Honolulu. I worked at this shop as a high school student many eons ago. It's where I first fell in love with children's literature.
