THE WICKIT CHRONICLES, ELY PLOT (BOOK I)
Joan Lennon
Kane Miller Publishing
159 pp.
Ages 8 to 12

Pip lives in a medieval abbey, surrounded by monks and miles of swamp — pretty boring. Until he meets Perfect, a small stone gargoyle, and the two find themselves in the middle of an assassination attempt against the king, and being chased across the fens by a man bent on killing them. Boring? Not any more.

There are four installments in The Wicket Chronicles:  Ely Plot, Fen Gold, Ice Road, and Witch Bell. These historical fantasies are perfect for young and/or reluctant readers who enjoy reading about magic and dragons and adventure, but who might not have the patience or skills to read more advanced fantasy tales.

GIVEAWAY TIME!!!

I have one copy of THE WICKIT CHRONICLES, BOOK I to giveaway. To be eligible to win, please fill out the rafflecopter form below. U.S. only, please.
This giveaway will end on September 24th.

  3. I love SMOG from LOTR. And that horrible princess eating dragon from the movie THE DRAGON SLAYER. That film scared the crap out of me when I was a kid.
