Welcome to the YAMAZING RACE celebrating debut young adult and middle grade authors! We have a lot of fun and prizes in store for you this week, so be sure to play - and spread the word.

The way this works is pretty simple:

1) Start at the beginning of the race HERE.
2) Visit each of the participating blogs AND read about the books posted there.
3) Answer the trivia questions at the end of each leg of the race.

That's it! To be eligible to win you must complete one or more of the quizzes. More details are available at the starting point HERE.

The race will run from 10/22 to 10/29!

Now, without further ado...MY BOOK:

The annual Great Quest is about to be announced in Quendal, a task that will determine the future of Marcus and the other boys from the village who are coming of age. The wizard Zyll commands them to find the Rock of Ivanore, but he doesn't tell them what the Rock is exactly or where it can be found. (They think it's a MAGICAL STONE) Marcus must reach deep within himself to develop new powers of magic and find the strength to survive the wild lands and fierce enemies he encounters as he searchs for the illusive Rock. If he succeeds, he will live a life of honor; if he fails, he will live a life of menial labor in shame. With more twists and turns than a labyrinth, and a story in which nothing is as it seems, this tale of deception and discovery keeps readers in suspense until the end.

Okay! Now it's time to move on to Corrine Jackson's blog and her book TOUCHED. Just click HERE to proceed... And in the meantime, be sure to check all my latest giveaways at the top of this post!

  1. Oh, this sounds like fun. BTW - I saw Rock of Ivanore at Barnes and Noble last week. It was in the YA section. I turned it so it was facing out.
