You've probably noticed by now that my blog has a whole new look. Mostly it's purple. Also, the banner and title "A Thousand Wrongs" have been replaced with my name. I'm experimenting, and you may see various additional changes over the coming days and weeks as I try out different variations. Please feel free to comment and let me know what you think of the changes, good or bad.
Why did I change everything?
Two years ago as I prepared for the release of my first novel, The Rock of Ivanore, I was told by my publisher and many others that as an author I needed a blog (among other things.) I had no idea what a blog was let alone how to design one. I hired someone to design the banner and layout and spent months learning how to navigate and manage it on my own. I named it A Thousand Wrongs after a funny quote I'd read about writers and decided to focus on book reviews, author interviews and giveaways to help build an audience. I've worked really hard to make this blog a success, but life has changed quite a bit for me over the past year and I needed my blog to reflect those changes.
First, my blog should represent me as a person, and simply put -- purple is the best way to do that. I just love purple. I think I first loved purple when I was a very young fan of a very cute, ice skating, purple-lovin' Donny Osmond. (I know I'm totally dating myself.)
Second, with the upcoming release of my second book, The Last Enchanter, I need a way to keep my fans up to date on what's happening. I use Facebook and Twitter, but I'm limited in what I can say and who I can reach. My website is pretty cool (and I designed that myself!) but is rather stagnant. Again, I need a way to communicate with my fans, educators, and fellow readers and authors.
Finally, I just don't have as much time as I used to to keep up with all the interviews, reviews and giveaways that have been the hallmark of this blog until now. I spend a great deal of time visiting schools and promoting my books. I spend even more time studying for my classes in graduate school. And in between all that I am working on three new novels AND being a full-time mommy to my five kids.

MARVELOUS MIDDLE GRADE MONDAY will still spotlight a great selection of middle grade books every week.
MONTHLY GIVEAWAY HOPS - Each month I will giveaway a cool new middle grade or young adult book or collection of books.
BOOK REVIEWS/SPOTLIGHTS - I will review or spotlight books on occasion, and only those books I read on my own accord. I will not be able to accept books for review until at least June 2014. Sorry.
SUPER SWAG SUNDAY is my annual massive giveaway of all kinds of goodies donated by all my author friends: book marks, stickers, toys, etc.! This will be scheduled sometime in June or July, so keep a look out!
