I just found out about this fun 21-day comment challenge. Here's the low down - Every day, for 21 days, participants commit to leaving comments on 5 KidLit blogs (like this one!) Since I love reading book blogs, and I'm a writer of kid lit, this sounded right up my alley!
So I am taking the challenge!!! If you'd like to come along, you can start by leaving a comment right here on my blog. Next, stop by MOTHER READER to see the entire list of participating blogs and leave comments on some of them, too! Finally, stop by LEE WIND's blog each Wednesday for updates on the challenge.
In the meantime, just to make this extra fun, I'll be giving away a ROCK OF IVANORE T-Shirt at the end of this challenge to one lucky winner. All you need to do to enter the drawing is leave a comment along with your email address (please use "dot" and "com" to avoid spam.) The winner will be announced on or about January 27th. Also, while you're here, I'd like to invite you to subscribe to my free monthly newsletter THE CELESTINE CHRONICLES.
So, let's get started! I'm heading over to some other great KidLit blogs right now!
I am so glad to have discovered your site through this challenge - I teach sixth grade and have alrady found books my kids woll love.

I'm doing the challenge. And your book looks great -- I've put it on our TBR list so I don't miss it. Although my ten year was careful to warn me not to judge a book by its cover -- he's says he has to read it before he can tell if it is great.
ReplyDeletemitcham dot beth at gmail for the t-shirt.
Yay for the Year of the Apocalypsies! Big Congrats on your forthcoming book... what an exciting time. I love the title of your blog and can certainly testify to its accuracy. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining and promoting the Comment Challenge! Love the Dennis Miller quote and had never seen it before now - one for my writer's notebook!
ReplyDeleteYay for kid lit blogs! What an excellent idea :D
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like great fun. By the way, I got several comments when I wore my ROCK OF IVANORE tee. I made two people write down the title. :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE LOVE LOVE the comment challenge. I always meet to loveliest people!
